ACG-CIS SPECIAL REPORT - *UPDATE* - TERROR ATTACK OVER DETROIT

THE MECHANICS OF SYSTEM FAILURE

The Secretary Of Homeland Security Acknowledges The System Did Not Work.

VANCOUVER BC: ACG-CIS: 09-12-28:

Apparently, we got it right.

There was a system failure and this fact has now been acknowledged by Janet Napolitano, the Secretary of Homeland Security in the US. The article from the New York Times quoted  Ms. Napolitano Monday on NBC’S “Today” that her remark the day before — “the system has worked really very, very smoothly over the course of the past several days” — had been taken out of context. “Our system did not work in this instance,” she said. “No one is happy or satisfied with that. An extensive review is under way.”

THE MECHANICS OF SYSTEM FAILURE

What Went Wrong To Allow A Terror Attack In The Skies Over Detroit.

VANCOUVER BC: ACG-CIS: 09-12-26:

As reported yesterday (Dec. 25 2009), an Al Qaeda-linked terrorist attempted to blow up a packed commercial jet over Detroit on Friday, but was tackled by heroic passengers as he tried to explode the bomb, officials said.

CLICK TO SEE FLIGHT PATH OF TERROR SUSPECT ABDUL FAROUK ABDULMUTALLAB.Two immediate concerns are raised by this incident, namely, how were the ingredients for this crude device smuggled onboard an international aircraft? Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, as the suspect is on several watch lists and possibly one no-fly list, how was he able to board and fly in spite of all security precautions including the vaunted US-Visit program which collects biometrics from each person visiting the US?

Very simply, the system that is supposed to safeguard us failed.
