ACG SECURITY GROUP CORP. ANNOUNCES TEST RESULTS FOR v-RAID TECHNOLOGY

Vancouver, BC - 09-12-02: ACG Security Group Corp. is announcing the test results received today regarding the v-RAID technology . All testing was done conforming with IEEE standards as required for radiation sensing technology. The tests conducted in Los Angeles, California and sponsored by ACG Security Group Corp. were completed earlier this week. Highlights from the test results proved the operational capacity and viability of this new breed of radiation sensors.

As required by IEEE standards, the v-RAID technology first measured background radiation levels and then demonstrated its ability to enter an alarm state when radiation levels spiked to 10 times the normal background level. This is in conformity to IEEE standards and the v-RAID technology is the first sensor developed to perform this at 100% efficiency. Further testing and modeling showed that the v-RAID would be at an operational efficiency of greater than 97% when used for 'in-field' operations.

The development team is expected to meet soon with the US government officials to begin the GRaDER certification process (click here for GRaDER certification information). "I am extremely pleased for our company, shareholders and development team. Based upon what we have just seen, we should be the very first company and technology to fully pass all of the requirements of the US GRaDER certification program. These tests give us a very solid indication as to the performance and results we can expect from our v-RAID technology as it goes through the certification process", stated Paul J Paulson, President. "The tests that have just concluded were based upon IEEE standards, which are the same standards that are found in the GRaDER program. I do not expect our results to vary much during the certification process  from what we have seen this week."

ACG Security Group Corp. will announce the details of the GRaDER program timetable as they become available.
