Helping Hands
"It
is virtually impossible for one person to change the world,
but it is remarkably simple to change the world of one person."

"Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto
me."

Coupled with the responsibility of operating a company, comes
the responsibility of being a contributing member to the society where the company
and its people work, live and play. A responsibility
that challenges us to prove our words with action. This is why the
ACG Security Group founded the Helping Hands program.
Helping Hands is the Relief and
Development arm of ACG. Our directors have a heart, and a passion for
reaching out to alleviate human suffering wherever we can.
Through the leadership of Ernie Culley,
we have been involved in a healing capacity in many troubled areas of
the world.

We were present, “on the ground” in
Rwanda shortly after the genocide stopped, assisting in the recover
efforts of that war torn land. Our specific involvement included
helping open up and sustain orphanages for many children. We were
involved in establishing the first, and what remains the
largest, AIDS orphanage in East Africa.
Our representative was there in Banda
Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia shortly after the
terrible tsunami claimed countless lives. Our specific involvement was
in providing a mobile medical clinic on one of the smaller outlying
islands, off the coast of Banda Aceh.
We are actively involved in rescuing
children from the child sex slave industry of South
Asia, and have been responsible for the rescue of almost 100 children –
aged 4 years to 14 years – to date. Often the rescues are accomplished
under the most dangerous conditions imaginable. Our goal is to see that
industry destroyed, and countless children freed from horrifying
bondage.
We have made several trips into
Myanmar to bring relief to some very persecuted people.
Your involvement in ACG further
enables Helping Hands to continue on with “hands on” relief work.
