Professional Security Textbook
"THE PROFESSIONAL SECURITY
PERSON"
This textbook is widely used in corporate security
offices, police agencies, training colleges and universities throughout
Canada. Currently in its fifth printing, this hardcover textbook is
required for many of the security courses currently offered in Canada.

About the author - Paul H. Paulson, the
original president of Paul Paulson & Associates Inc. and Allgard
Security (the forerunners to ACG). has been actively involved in the
security field for the past 46 years until his retirement two years ago.
Mr. Paulson was also the Corporate Security Manager
for Woodward's Stores, a large department store chain in Western Canada
and was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Reserve.
He has teaching certification from the University of
British Columbia (UBC) and the Security Supervisors Training Course in
Ottawa.
Mr. Paulson is a member of the International
Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the American Society for
Industrial Security (ASIS) and a member of the 1985 Federal Committee,
Canadian General Standards Board.
